NEET 2017

IT IS TOUGHER NOW BUT THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE TO DO IT. PROVIDED WITH ADEQUATE TIME MANY HAS DONE IT BUT THOSE WHO WANT IT BADLY DO IT FURIOUSLY . YOU CAN LEARN MANY THINGS FROM OUR  M.S DHONI  . HE DOES NOT THINK ABOUT CONSEQUENCES HE JUST KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO WIN REGARDLESS OF THE TIME LEFT AND GIVES HIS BEST.

From now, only 6 month has left to prepare for the NEET 2017 and even if you have just the basic idea about the concepts of 11th and 12th you can clear the exam in 6 months also . First 6 months of the year are very important but this last 6 months are game changer . Many students work hard during 1st phase but lose their enthusiasm during this last 6 months.  Things which has been learnt in the month of June seems new (without proper revision) in the month of April when students revise it for final preparations. So it just does not matter that you studied or not if you can not recall it at the exam time.
This last 6 months from November to April is going to decide your result if you have not studied well earlier and if you have studied well then these months can get you a good rank or even can get you out of the merit list.

WHAT TO DO IN LAST SIX MONTHS-
  • Have you analysed your performance till today? Identify your mostly covered topics, fresh topics about which you do not know anything and the topics about which you have some idea .
  • Do you think you are expert in Biology? Though you find yourself good with biology do not dare to take it lightly.
  • Set small immediate targets. Divide the whole syllabus into 4 section including all three Biology, Physics,Chemistry .Start finishing it section wise.If you have joined some test series then make your section division according to the test.
  • Make a time table for the whole day giving equal slot for each subjects. You have to give 2 hours for each subject i.e BIOLOGY ,PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY for self study at least and give separate 1 hr/ subject for revising the topics learned from your self made short notes and highlighted matters from the book.
  • Do you think procrastination is cool thing to do? Now you can not afford to be lazy. Do not give second thoughts to your prepared time table and strictly follow it at any cost .
  • Clear your every doubt which comes in front of you while reading . You can ask your teacher, friends or you can ask me on this blog's comment section. I will try to solve as soon as I find time. Watch youtube videos related to that topic.
  • Join a test series if you have not joined and take it seriously. But remember not to expect 70% marks without preparing for the whole test syllabus. It will be best if you study according to test syllabus and appear for tests. But in most of the test series many questions of  Biology are out of NCERT books so do not worry about them . You just have to prepare it from NCERT, almost 82-84 Questions are from NCERT in the NEET .
  • Practice  MCQs in time bound manner. 45 question in 45 minutes and do not get up in between this 45 minutes.
  • Follow the book which you have studied till now and do not switch over the new.
  • 70% questions asked in the NEET are of basic and fundamental in nature. You must have all the Formulas on your tips which is given in NCERT of Physics and Chemistry . Almost 10-12 question out of 45 in both physics and chemistry are formula based and very simple. If you can not do these questions then it is very lame thing to do with the preparations of NEET.
  • In Physics and Chemistry solve NCERT questions at first and it is of very high importance. DO NOT skip solving NCERT even it seems time taking and lengthy question.
  • Do not solve MCQs from any JEE ADVANCE books or it's previous year papers . Try to stick to the books and questions of PMT (AIPMT and various state PMT previous year papers). If you can study for 12 hours then only solve JEE MAIN previous year papers in separate allotted time.

NEXT POST WILL BE ON WHAT NOT TO DO IN THE LAST SIX MONTH OF PREPARATION
